FineFilter G / S
The FineFilter is a highly resistant, universally applicable collective filter for audio and video systems. The filter is built with such low impendence, that even the largest power amps can be operated without loss of dynamics. This is achieved by consistently overdimensioning all parts, manual wiring, manually auditioning and custom building components when necessary. The built-in safety reserve is typical for Audioplan: The components of the FineFilter G can therefore withstand continuous current of 10 ampere, those in the FinFilter S can take 25 ampere. This ensures that even the most extreme current peaks can flow without being limited by the filter or themselves producing interference due to saturation or overload effects (long-term stability). The filter is used to filter out audio interference, which could otherwise reach the system through the power mains. As such, it represents a component in the power filter and power outlet system we have developed, consisting of the PowerStar, PowerPlant and PowerCord or CleanCord

PowerPlant 100 G / S:
The unique design of the PowerPlant with multiple nested windings, numerous shieldings and specially made and tuned filter components provides high, so-called reverse damping. This means that not only is the interference coming from the power mains, interference going from the filtered components into the power line is also filtered. This predestines PowerPlants for use with digital components. But phono stages and analog drives can exceptionally profit from separate filtering with PowerPlant – especially in connection with the FineFilter as a collective filter.

 

 

 

 

PowerPlant 1500 U:
PowerPlant technology is entering the next generation. Advanced shielding winding provides more effective filtering of high frequency interference and achieves optimized dynamic behavior. The PowerPlant 1500 U has two alternative outputs. First, the well-known floating output, which effectively interrupts ground loops in addition to its filtering effect and therefore prevents hum. Second, there is a new ground reference output, which allows adjustment of the reference potential. This allows compensation to be made for network-related potential differences between the equipment connected to the PowerPlant 1500 U and other components of the system. Thus, it is possible for the first time to avoid leakage currents on the ground lines of the connecting cable. On request, we provide an easy-to-use instrument and the necessary cables for measuring the setting of the ground potential equalization. The sound improvement from this measure alone is enormous. It can be clearly heard even in a minimalist system with two devices. PowerPlant 1500 U may be an indispensable part of a high-quality, complex system. With its high power output of up to 1500 watts, PowerPlant 1500 U is suitable for all types of audio and video equipment, specifically for power amplifiers and high-quality projectors and large screen TV

PowerStar G / S
The influence of the power supply on the sound of a hi-fi system became apparent to us during intensive listening sessions for development at the beginning of the 80’s. We found that a system sounded different depending on the plug position of an individual component in the power outlet strip. The reason for this is the equalizing currents, which flow through the audio frequency lines to compensate for dynamic potential differences from the power mains end.

 

 

PowerStar S II:
The star-shaped design of the PowerStar minimizes these differences in potential and establishes a direct reference to the main component in the system, the preamp or the power amp. This represents a decisive advantage in comparison to all conventional power outlet strips. In designing the PowerStar, we also paid attention to minimizing the connection points and resistances. The conductor star of the PowerStar S II is therefore soldered with pure silver and then silver-plated. This reduces the number of connection points to three per outlet: power plug to cable, cable to conductor star and conductor star to outlet.
